Francis Rigby – Senior Financial Adviser (Toowong)
After completing his Economics Degree in 1996 and finishing 2 years as a
research assistant in a Stockbroking company, Francis and his wife Portia travelled
the world competing for Australia at numerous international and world championships
in Ice Dance. The Goodwill Games Brisbane in 2001 saw them compete for their
last time, hanging up their skates in order to follow their professional careers.
Francis commenced employment with Financial Technology Securities in 2001
and since that time has continually demonstrated his dedication to his Clients.
In Francis, you will find a dedicated professional with a personal touch that
ensures you know you are receiving the very best of care.
He has been an Authorised Representative since May 2001 and continues to
successfully work with existing and prospective clients out of the Toowong
Office. Given his standing in Financial Technology Securities, Francis mentors
new Financial Advisers and is a valuable member of the Investment Committee.
He has been a shareholder of Financial Technology since 2004.

Matthew Van Dijk – Financial Adviser (Toowong)
Matthew has worked within the Financial Services Industry since 1999 and joined Financial Technology Securities, as a Financial Adviser in February 2005.
Prior to joining Financial Technology Securities Matthew has held positions with both Commonwealth Financial Planning and Westpac Financial Planning.
As an Authorised Representative and shareholder of Financial Technology Securities Matthew is suitably qualified to help clients to achieve their financial and lifestyle goals.
Outside of Financial Technology Securities Matthew has enjoys learning Wing Chun Kung Fu, trying new food, going to the cinema and exploring new parts of the world with his partner of nine years, Samantha.

Nathan Watson – Financial Adviser (Toowong)
Nathan joined Financial Technology in January 2006 with prior experience in both the accounting and health insurance industries. He has a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Financial Planning and Investments from Griffith University and is a member of the Financial Planning Association.
Nathan has travelled extensively throughout the world with his wife Linda for a period of four years. This experience aids Nathan in bringing a holistic view to his clients' financial and lifestyle needs.
In relation to financial advice he is able to emphasize the importance of the whole without losing sight of each client’s individual objectives.
Nathan plans to continue his professional development through the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification and accreditation program.

Adrian Berkeley – Senior
Financial Adviser (Mt Gravatt - Brisbane)
Adrian joined AMP in 1990 as an Insurance Representative where he gained
intensive training in the Life Insurance industry, along with grounding in
the Superannuation and Investment markets. After several years of study, and
Accreditation courses Adrian became licensed as an Authorised Representative
on 27/07/1994, thus enabling him to operate as a financial planner. Adrian
was also an Insurance Representative for Australian Casualty & Life from
1992 until 1999.
In 1997 Adrian joined Financial Technology Securities Pty Ltd and has been
an Authorised Representative since 20/01/1997. During this time Adrian commenced
his Diploma of Financial Planning through Deakin University and graduated in
January 2002.
Within Financial Technology, Adrian has been on several internal committees,
and is currently on the Superannuation Committee. Adrian is very focused on
all his clients and is committed to providing excellent financial planning
advice to his existing and prospective clients. Adrian is a long-standing team
member and is well regarded by the clients, staff and management of Financial
Technology Securities. He has been a shareholder since 2004. Adrian is married
to Merelyn and has twin boys.

Wade Eathorne – Financial Adviser (Mt Gravatt - Brisbane)
Wade commenced in the Financial Services Industry in 2001 and joined Financial Technology in 2007 as a Financial Advisor.
Prior to joining the team at FTS he worked for several years at the Commonwealth Bank covering all positions from teller to Branch Manager, to Financial Planner. Wade then moved on to AMP as a Financial Advisor before commencing with Financial Technology Securities.
Before completing his University qualifications Basketball was his life, having played in the United States for 3 years at the Collegiate level for Florida International University, competing in the NCAA tournament. He has also represented Australia throughout different age brackets as well as competed at state and national level competitions.
Outside of work Wade’s time is now completely taken up by his beautiful twin daughters whom he shares with his wife Justine. When a spare minute is available, basketball, golf, fishing and surfing are still on the agenda.

Allan Wood - Financial Adviser (Bundaberg)
Allan Wood first entered the Financial Planning industry in 1989 in Toowoomba.
He has also worked in the finance area of local and international companies
both domestically and in Europe. Allan qualified as a Financial Adviser in
2000 and has been associated with Financial Technology Securities since 2001.
Allan has a Bachelor of Business and a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning
from the Securities Institute.
His expertise is in Cashflow and Investment management and Superannuation

Bernadette Gamlin – Financial
Adviser (Bundaberg)
Bernadette Gamlin has been in the Financial Planning industry
since May 2005 and employed in the finance service industry
for a total of 14 years.
She was assistant to the Executive Manager of Wide Bay Australia
for numerous years working her way up to the position she now holds with
Financial Technology Securities. Bernadette is PS 146 Compliant, has a Diploma
of Financial Services, Justice of the Peace (Qual) and is currently completing an Advanced
Diploma of Financial Services;
working her way to obtaining CFP status.
As a Financial Technology Securities adviser, she is able to assist
anyone from 18-80 with our integrated financial planning service - specialising
in debt management, cashflow monitoring and wealth
creation.

Bruno Festa has worked in the financial service industry since 1987 and specialises in Superannuation and Retirement Planning Advice
Bruno holds a Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) from the Financial Planning Association of Australia (FPA). With this qualification and his experience, Bruno is well qualified to help clients to achieve their financial goals.

Brett and his wife Toni have two children, Tate and Chelsea. Prior to joining the Financial Services Industry Brett was a professional baseballer, which included stints in Japan, Taiwan and the Boston Redsox, as well as many years with the Australian National team.

Stephen Walden – Financial Adviser (Mackay)
Stephen Walden has been working in the Financial Services Industry since 2000.
Steve has a strong background in banking and lending, working for a major
bank for 5 years at a supervisory level, at which point he moved into financial
planning. He holds an Advanced Diploma in Financial Services (Financial Planning)
and also has qualifications in Accountancy and Banking. Steve is a Senior Associate
member of FINSIA and a member of the FPA.
Before moving into the finance industry Steve was involved in small business,
learning all aspects of running a successful, thriving business. Steve also
studied at tertiary level and worked as a professional musician whose compositions
have been heard around the world.
He is continuing to grow his financial knowledge base, through further study
and training, in all aspects of finance, business and economics.

Matt Johnson (Sunshine Coast)
Matthew joined Financial Technology Securities in July 2008 as a Financial Adviser based on the Sunshine Coast.
Prior to joining Financial Technology Securities Matthew worked for the National Bank for 15 years covering all positions from Teller to Business Banking Manager. In 2001 Matthew joined a local Accounting firm in East Gippsland Victoria as their Financial Adviser, In 2003 Matthew started a Financial Planning business with another local Accounting Practice of which Matthew owned 50%.
In 2006 Matthew and his wife Felicity spent 2 years travelling around Australia prior to settling on the Sunshine Coast and in October 2008 had their first child a beautiful little girl.
Matthew has completed a Diploma of Financial Planning through Deakin University.
Matthew’s aim is to achieve a close working relationship with all his clients and to ensure his clients have a full understanding of how they can achieve their financial goals and what is needed to reach these goals. Matthew also places a high importance on educating his clients about their financial plans.

Natalie Harvey (Albury/Wodonga)
Natalie first joined the Financial Services Industry in 1992 and has been
involved in most aspects of the industry including General Insurance, Life
Insurance and Financial Planning.
Having worked for over 8 years within the general insurance sector, in 2001
Natalie joined AW Financial Pty Ltd to pursue her interest of Financial Advising.
Now a Financial Adviser with Financial Technology Securities, Natalie has formal
qualifications with the Australian Insurance Institute and has obtained a Diploma
in Financial Planning.
In her current role she is committed to providing a high level of service
to her clients in order for them to meet their financial goals and objectives.

Patrick Vargiu (Camberwell – Melbourne)
Patrick recently joined Financial Technology Securities as a Financial Adviser
having returned to live in Melbourne with his family.
Prior to joining Financial Technology Securities Patrick had spent numerous
years with AMP advising his clients on Investments, Superannuation and Insurances.
Patrick is now providing financial advice to many of our existing clients and
is keen to develop close ties with new clients, to ensure that they have set
goals and are guided towards achieving these.
Having completed a Business and Arts Degree, Patrick worked for three years
in Marketing for a multi-national manufacturer and distributor before operating
his own business for 12 years, at Lakes Entrance.
Patrick completed his qualifications in Financial Planning to be able to bring
the same level of long-term dedication to help clients record their aspirations
and lay out a realistic plan to attain them.

Steven Samaradellis (Camberwell – Melbourne)
Steven has been in the financial services industry since 2003.
Prior to joining FTS his experience includes client advisory roles with Goldman Sachs JBWere and Ord Minnett.
Steven has a very broad experience in financial services, including financial planning, stockbroking and derivatives.
As an Authorised Representative of FTS, Steven continues to helps his clients to achieve their financial and lifestyle goals by specialising in wealth creation along with pre and post retirement planning.
Outside of work, Steven enjoys travelling, taking his two labradors to the park and spending as much time with family and friends as possible.
